We can’t wait to see you July 17 to 20 at the 2025 Back to Batoche Days festival! Check out the tips below to make your arrival as smooth as possible:

  • General admissions and camping arrival located at the North Gate
  • There is no parking on-site for general admissions
  • Look for signs directing you to the new parking lot next to the gate
  • Camping guests must leave vehicles at their site
  • One vehicle per campsite – $20 fee for second vehicle (no more than 2 vehicles permitted)
  • Cash payments are encouraged (ATM on-site by main stage)

Ground Rules for Back to Batoche

Make Back to Batoche Days a fun and safe experience for everyone by adhering to all festival ground rules, which include prohibited substances, what to do in case of emergency, campsite guidelines, and more. Click here for a downloadable version.
  • In case of an emergency, please find the closest MN–S Staff and/or Security person, or proceed to the First Aid Building or Security Building.
  • Extreme weather conditions can happen. Please keep cool, drink lots of water and seek medical attention immediately if you are not feeling well.
  • Batoche has designated entry and exit roads, please follow the signage.
  • Event admission bracelets must be worn or visible on your person at all times.
  • Hang tags must be displayed at all times in your vehicle.
  • Vehicle speed limit on Batoche grounds is 15km/h. Please remain alert while driving in the campground.
  • Roadways are to remain clear at all times.
  • Shuttle Service will be available in Saskatoon and Prince Albert. Gate admission passes can be purchased while boarding.
  • Use of ATVs is prohibited. Personal golf carts are permitted and must remain on road paths only (no one under the age of 16 may operate a golf cart, and the golf cart operation manual must be followed).
  • Batoche Staff Golf Carts are prohibited for public use.
  • Consumption of alcohol and drugs is strictly prohibited on Batoche grounds. This includes inside campers and tents. Vehicles, RVs and persons are subject to be searched. Refusal to allow search will result in denied entry or removal from the event.
  • **Medical marijuana is permitted with proof of valid medical card, which will need to be presented to Batoche Lead and security. Consumption is allowed at reserved campsite only.
  • In consideration of others, please exercise caution when smoking tobacco. Smoking is permitted only in designated areas and at campsites. Smoking is strictly prohibited in buildings and outdoor eating areas.
  • Pet owners are responsible for the behavior of their pets. Owners must clean up after them and dispose of any waste properly. The Arbor (big tent), all buildings and playground area are off-limits for pets. Pets must be kept on a leash at all times.
  • Service animals are welcome, in the company of their handlers. Please keep service animals on a leash or harness during your visit.
  • Campers are required to present their receipt from their online booking upon arrival.
  • Quiet time is between 12 a.m. to 7 a.m.
  • Registrants for the campsite are responsible for the site, including cleanliness, noise levels, and actions of visitors. It is important to maintain cleanliness at the campsite by securely storing all food, garbage and personal belongings.
  • Each campsite is allowed 1 Trailer, 1 Tent, 1 Vehicle. Any additional vehicles will need to park in designated parking area. Slideouts must be within your designated campsite area.
  • The use of generators in the campground without electricity is permitted only between the hours of 7:00 a.m. and 12:00 a.m. Generators must be turned off when the campsite is unoccupied.
  • There must be clear view lines through each campsite, no blocking or closing off is permitted. Use of tarps will be accommodated for protection from elements; tarps must not create safety concerns within the campground.
  • Firepits are permitted, and must be dug a minimum of 8 inches. No fire is to be left unattended. Firepit must be filled back prior to departing.
  • To prevent the spread of invasive insects and diseases, firewood will be supplied at the Batoche grounds, please refrain from bringing firewood from home.
  • Water truck delivery on site for campers at own cost and discretion.
  • No sewage dumpage allowed at Batoche. Rosthern Provincial Park does have Liquid and/or solid waste dump at park entry cost.
  • Fireworks are prohibited.
  • Washrooms have non-potable water and it is not suitable for drinking! Do not flush feminine products, paper towel or anything foreign down toilets. Do not leave tap water running. Make sure toilet flushes, if not working please let bathroom staff know immediately. Shower areas are to be left clean, please don’t forget your hygiene items/towels.
  • Lost and found is located at the security building.
  • Any children who are under the age of 6 must be accompanied by an adult.
  • Horses are not permitted to be walked or ridden outside of the designated rodeo area. With the exception of horse wagon rides.
  • Any form of violence will not be tolerated.
  • Please act with kindness and respect towards others.
  • Please be advised that MN–S will be taking photos, videos, etc.* during the event. These will be used at MN–S’s discretion and will be the sole property of MN–S. *Text, graphics, source code, images, videos, photographs, illustrations, trademarks, trade names, service marks, logos. By attending the event you consent to the use of your likeness.
  • It is a condition of your use of the premises and facilities and your participation in these activities that you assume all risk of personal injury, death or property loss resulting from any cause whatsoever, including negligence, breach of contract, or breach of any duty of care on the part of the MN–S (including its employees and representatives).
    • You agree that the MN–S shall not be liable for any personal injury, death or property loss and release the MN–S from all liability and waive all claims with respect thereto.
    • Negligence includes failure on the part of the MN–S to take reasonable steps to safeguard or protect you from or warn you of the risks, dangers and hazards referred to above.
    • Any litigation involving the MN–S shall be brought solely within Saskatchewan and shall be within the exclusive jurisdiction of the Saskatchewan Court.
    • These conditions and any rights, duties and obligations involving the MN–S shall be governed by and interpreted solely in accordance with the laws of Saskatchewan and no other jurisdiction.
  • If the conditions mentioned above are not adhered to, the campsite or individual may be relinquished for the entire duration of Back to Batoche Days.
